Team Time Goal

To serve the Steel Valley sport community through character development and sharing the truth of Jesus Christ.  We accomplish through a variety of activites including:
• Providing meals to teams without booster clubs (2-a-day practices)
• Daily/Weekly character development team discussions
• Team prayer
• 1-on-1/small group mentoring of athletes & coaches

Why? … A legitimate question in today's sport culture is can we reclaim the opportunity which sport provides to intentionally develop character through the activity of sport?  We believe it is not only possible, but critical.  Sport provides a laboratory for life in which we can develop character in young people's lives that will help them not only on the field/court but more importantly off the field/court in the game of life.

We can ensure that our players/children will become people of character only if we become committed to incorporate the intentional development of character into how we lead and teach the team in practices and games/matches both on and off the playing field/court.

Team time focuses on the physical, mental, social and spiritual (character) areas of the game/match and how they will benefit a player if they are growing in wholemess and health in all areas of their lives.  This time will help players learn how to incorporate life-skills, character attributes and spiritual relevancy to their game and life.
