The East Huddle was birthed from one student's desire to impact his school for Jesus Christ.
After attending an FCA banquet in April 2008, Antonio Ford felt FCA was just the vehicle he needed to bring the Word of God to his fellow students. He gathered a leadership team made up of students and two teachers, Margo Mateo and Gail Tigner. After many meetings and much planning, the huddle kicked off it's meetings with the new school year.
Antonio and other students lead the weekly meetings. They also have special speakers from the community come in to speak. Currently they meet during the 4th period lunch. The huddle is open to all East High students.
