Liberty High School - Fields of Faith Event October 14, 2009
This was the first time Liberty HS (or any other high school in the Steel Valley) participated in FCA’s national event called “Fields of Faith” where students invite their teammates/classmates to meet on their school’s athletic field. At the event they are challenged to commit to reading the Word of God. The event is Inspired by 2 Chronicles 34 where 16-year old King Josiah, gathered his people and challenged them to read God’s Word. As a result, they changed their culture.
Student Huddle Leader, DeVante Hudson (Jr.) and his leadership team did an amazing job organizing the entire event, which took place on October 14th. Approximately 100 people gathered in the school’s gymnasium (due to inclement weather) to hear the Word, listen to personal testimonies, worship, and watch a human video put on by the Liberty HS students. Three students came forward to accept Christ and many more accepted the challenge to read the Word daily. It was an awesome evening!

Please bring your race numbers and pins from last Saturday.
There will be some snacks after the race. Carrabbas blessed us Saturday but they will not be returning to Friday's makeup race.
