South Range Middle School Huddle

Huddle Coaches: Janice Stephenson & Meri Coler
Meets as a group at least monthly

Devotions every Tuesday at 8:15 AM in the Band Room
with Mr. Sobota and Mr. Venesky

SRMS FCA Student Leaders 2008-2009 school year

The South Range Middle School FCA recently presented a check to the Merry Christmas Billboard Ladies.  The huddle completed a candy-selling fundraiser in order to make a donation to this local charity.

Huddle leaders, FCA students, teachers and administration gathered in the band room to see the presentation.  Pat See and Joanne Brown, Billboard Ladies, were almost in tears as they thanked the group for their efforts. They explained their motivation for starting the Billboard Ladies and encouraged the students to keep Christ in Christmas by refusing to say Happy Holidays and instead saying "Merry Christmas" to everyone.

To help them remember to do this, they gave each student a button that said "I miss hearing you say 'Merry Christmas'"...Jesus

A special thank you to Huddle Leaders Janice Stephenson and Meri Coler for their help in organizing and running the fundraiser.

The group meets each Tuesday morning in the Band Room for devotions.  Each student takes a turn to lead the devotion.  They do several service projects throughout the school year.  The SRMS huddle has been active for over 10 years.
